The Creative Specimens is a fascinating series of hybrid creatures that merges animals, insects, and plant parts. Each one of these otherworldly organisms is beautifully depicted with lush vintage-style illustrations, inspired by the biological classifications of Charles Darwin and his contemporaries. This series is a collaborative work of art director and designer Mark Brooks (New York City), Alademosca Studio (Mallorca, Spain), Peter Cobo and Jorge Artola from HIDE Studio (Madrid, Spain), and Paper Chase Press (Los Angeles) for the Adobe’s 99U Conference.
