Kusudama is the name given to a type of modular origami from ancient Japanese culture, originally created in the form of a box to store medicines and aromatic herbs. Russian paper artist and designer Ekaterina Lukasheva is passionate about this art since she was a teenager, and uses her knowledge of mathematics and geometry to create extraordinary pieces.
