Murmuration: an installation made of thousands of black birds by Cai Guo-Qiang

Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang has created an amazing installation made of 10,000 suspended black bird porcelain sculptures, titled Murmuration (Landscape). The installations are part of a large-scale exhibition at Australia’s National Gallery of Victoria, in Melbourne, that put together the contemporary work of the artist with China’s ancient terracotta warriors, creating a contrast between the past and present of the Chinese art and culture.
