Paintings of mini ponds in shells by Nan Ma

Self-taught painter Nan Ma (aka Not A Number Art) uses little shells as canvas to create beautiful scenarios of fish swimming in mini ponds. She collects the pieces on the beach, fills the concave side with acrylic, paints the figures on, and then she covers the painted surface with another acrylic layer to protect the pictures. As result, the paintings acquire a three-dimensional effect.
