The surprising, intriguing, and funny stone sculptures of Hirotoshi Ito

Japanese artist Hirotoshi Ito, also known as Jiyuseki, creates intriguing and funny sculptures, adding unexpected elements to solid stones, such as human mouths, coins, zippers, seeds, and other everyday objects. Each sculpture is so perfectly made that makes us forget that they are mainly made of stone and not the soft materials they look like, such as fabric, paper, plastic, food, and even liquid ones.
